Since January 1, 2026, GIC International Catering (GIC), based in Kelsterbach, is providing in-flight catering services for Lufthansa Cargo pilots. With this new contract, GIC gains a renowned airline partner in the air freight sector and further strengthens its presence at Frankfurt Airport. The partnership currently covers eight daily flights on intercontinental routes, such as Chennai, Chicago, Mumbai, Beijing, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Daily operations in the cargo sector are characterized by tight schedules and a high level of operational complexity. As a result, the requirements for quality, timing and process reliability in crew catering are particularly demanding.

Catering tailored to cockpit requirements

Lufthansa Cargo crews receive a premium à la carte selection based on business class menus complemented by additional options ranging from fresh club sandwiches to a selection of salads.
