MILEONAIR has officially opened its own business lounge at Istanbul Airport, marking a notable first for the airport’s premium services landscape. The new lounge is located on the first floor after the security screening area and is designed to accommodate up to 58 guests.

What makes the opening particularly significant is its operating model. This is the first time an independent lounge operator has launched a fully standalone project at Istanbul Airport. Until now, all existing lounges at the hub have been owned and managed by the airport operator, iGA Havalimani Isletmesi A.S..

The interior reflects a neo-art-deco concept blended with contemporary luxury. The space is dominated by beige, brown, black, and gold tones, creating a calm yet refined atmosphere aimed at business travelers and premium passengers seeking privacy away from the busy terminal.

Guests are offered a buffet-style selection of snacks, traditional Turkish tea, hot and soft drinks, as well as a complimentary welcome glass of wine or beer. Premium alcoholic beverages are also available for an additional fee. The lounge is equipped with shower cabins and flight information screens, positioning it as a functional stop for both short layovers and longer transits.

According to Alexey Fedorov, CEO of MILEONAIR, the Istanbul opening is part of a broader international strategy. The company plans to expand its presence to all major global airports, reinforcing its ambition to become a recognizable premium lounge brand worldwide.

With Istanbul Airport continuing to strengthen its role as a global aviation hub, the arrival of an independent lounge operator signals growing diversification in passenger services and increased competition in the premium airport experience segment.
