Luxury river cruise line Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is charting new waters for 2027, announcing four new ships and six immersive itineraries that blend art, heritage, and adventure across Europe and Asia.
Two new Super Ships, S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene, will join the fleet with elegant interiors inspired by the timeless allure of screen icons Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich. Built by De Gerlien van Tiem in the Netherlands, both vessels will sail the rivers of Europe, bringing cinematic sophistication to the Rhine and Danube.
A third newbuild, S.S. São Rafael, will expand Uniworld’s footprint in Portugal’s Douro Valley. The ship’s name pays tribute to Portugal’s seafaring past, recalling the vessel that sailed alongside Vasco da Gama’s São Gabriel during his voyage to India in 1497.
For the first time, Uniworld will also debut in Asia through a partnership with Aqua Expeditions. The expedition yacht Aqua Blu will offer two exclusive Uniworld sailings per year, exploring the islands of Indonesia and Singapore. Guests will visit Komodo National Park, the Spice Islands, and the pink-sand beaches of the Indonesian archipelago, paired with stays in Bali and Singapore for a fully immersive experience.
“2027 is shaping up to be a landmark year as we introduce four new ships and a range of itineraries that blend cultural immersion, luxury and adventure,” said Ellen Bettridge, Uniworld’s President and CEO. “These additions mark an exciting chapter of growth and continued elevation.”
Among the new itineraries are:
- A 13-night Asia journey combining Bali, a seven-night Aqua Blu expedition, and a luxury stay in Singapore.
- An 11-night S.S. Audrey voyage through Germany’s Rhine and Moselle rivers, paired with stays in Paris and Prague.
- An 11-night Paris-to-Zurich itinerary through France, Germany, and Switzerland.
- A 14-night one-date-only S.S. Emilie sailing from Amsterdam to Vienna.
- A 16-night Eastern Europe journey aboard S.S. Marlene.
- A nine-night Rhine cruise with two nights in Amsterdam.
As Uniworld expands its fleet and global reach, 2027 is shaping up to be a defining year for travelers seeking high design, cultural depth, and small-ship elegance on rivers and seas alike.
