Aqua Expeditions announced that it will expand its luxury expedition cruise offerings to the Seychelles and Zanzibar starting in December 2025. The company will introduce a new ship to its fleet, marking its sixth vessel.
Founder and CEO Francesco Galli Zugaro expressed his excitement about venturing into East Africa, stating, “It has always been a dream of mine to explore this part of the world on a luxury expedition ship.”
While specific details about the new ship will be unveiled at a later date, Aqua Expeditions has confirmed that it will maintain its signature 1-to-1 crew-to-guest ratio and offer small-group excursions led by expert guides.
The company plans to offer a variety of itineraries, including five and nine-night cruises in the Seychelles that can be combined for a 14-night adventure. Additionally, 10- and 11-night sailings to both the Seychelles and the Zanzibar archipelago will be available.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore renowned biodiversity hotspots such as Aldabra, Cosmoledo, Astove, Furquhar Atol, Kilwa Kisiwani, and Pemba. Expeditions will also venture to the African Banks, the uninhabited northernmost islands in the Seychelles archipelago.
