Air Seychelles has announced that, beginning 16 October 2025, it will expand its service between Seychelles and Abu Dhabi to a daily schedule. The decision follows the strong performance of the route since its launch in May and reflects rising demand from both leisure and business travelers.
The increased frequency reinforces Air Seychelles’ commitment to enhancing regional and international connectivity for the Seychellois community and visitors alike.
Growing Demand and Strong Performance
Charles Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Seychelles, said the airline was thrilled by the success of the route so far.
“The overwhelming support from our passengers has been tremendous, and we are delighted to meet their needs with a daily service to Abu Dhabi,” he said. “The route is performing exceptionally well, validating its importance and demand within our network. With this increase, we are thrilled to offer greater flexibility and convenience to our passengers.”
The enhanced service will continue to be operated using Air Seychelles’ Airbus A320neo, configured with 168 seats. Through its codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, the route strengthens Seychelles’ position as a growing tourism hub, offering smooth onward connections across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
According to the airline, the Abu Dhabi service is expected to generate over 57,000 tourist arrivals annually, with most passengers traveling from Europe, the Middle East, and Russia.

As the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi offers travelers a rich mix of culture, modernity, and architectural splendor — from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Louvre Abu Dhabi to its luxury shopping and waterfront promenades.
