The Russian online hotel and apartment booking service Ostrovok has become the only platform from Russia to rank among the top 20 most popular websites in the global hotel industry category, according to analytics platform Similarweb.

In the Russian market, Ostrovok topped the charts for traffic during the spring–summer 2025 season, establishing itself as the leading domestic booking service. Globally, the platform entered the top 20 alongside major international players such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Agoda, and Expedia.

Between March and August 2025, Ostrovok captured nearly 26% of the Russian online booking market, the highest share among travel services specializing in accommodations. On average, the platform recorded almost 16 million visits per month, with users browsing around eight pages per visit, one of the strongest engagement metrics in the industry.

Ostrovok offers more than 2.9 million accommodation options worldwide, including over 218,000 properties in Russia, spanning hotels, apartments, guesthouses, and other types of stays.
