Emirates First Class Introduces Rare Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009

Flying First Class with Emirates has just become even more indulgent. The airline is now serving the rare Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne across all routes departing Dubai, giving passengers the chance to savor one of the most celebrated vintages in recent years. Thanks to an exclusive partnership with Moët Hennessy, Emirates is the only airline in the world to offer this prestige cuvée directly from the winery.

Emirates is already known for serving Dom Pérignon Vintage Champagne in First Class, but the addition of the Rosé 2009 brings an even more exclusive touch. While the classic Dom Pérignon Vintage is renowned for its precision, purity, and mineral finesse, the Rosé is bolder — with more Pinot Noir and the addition of still red wine in the blend, resulting in depth, sensuality, and striking character.

The 2009 Rosé: a standout vintage

The 2009 season in Champagne was marked by abundant sunshine, producing wines of richness and ripe intensity. After 12 years of cellar aging, Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 reveals layers of rose petals, orange oil, and saffron on the nose, followed by vivid notes of raspberry, cherry, cassis, and fig. Deeper accents of licorice and gingerbread emerge with time. On the palate, it is both smooth and structured, finishing with remarkable persistence and freshness.

First Class travelers can check whether Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 will be served on their flight by using the “What’s on your flight” feature on the Emirates website or app.

Emirates’ $1 billion wine program

Emirates invests more in wine and champagne than any other airline, with over $1 billion spent in the past 16 years. Its French wine cellar currently holds 6.5 million bottles, some of which will only be uncorked after 2035. Alongside Dom Pérignon, Emirates also serves Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and exclusive vintages of Bordeaux in its premium cabins. Even Premium Economy customers enjoy an exclusive sparkling wine: Chandon Vintage Brut 2019 from Australia.

With a wine program that rivals Michelin-starred restaurants, Emirates continues to elevate the inflight experience — and with the arrival of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009, First Class passengers can look forward to an even more unforgettable journey.
