FuturHealth Adds Apple Fitness+ for Free to Support GLP-1 Weight Loss Programs

FuturHealth is giving its weight-loss members a new tool to help lock in results: free access to Apple Fitness+.

The telehealth company — known for its personalized programs combining GLP-1 medications like Ozempic and semaglutide with nutrition plans and one-on-one support — announced that all members enrolled in a FuturHealth program can now use Apple’s premium fitness platform at no additional cost.

“Our top priority has always been to help people on a weight loss journey experience real, long-lasting results through holistic lifestyle changes and personalized support,” said Luke Mahoney, co-founder and CEO of FuturHealth. “With this Fitness+ offer, users can tap into thousands of workouts and meditations — wherever and whenever they choose — at no extra cost.”

Apple Fitness+ delivers 4K Ultra HD workouts and meditations across 12 activity types, including strength, HIIT, yoga, cycling, treadmill, and rowing. Sessions range from five to 45 minutes and can be accessed on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with real-time personalized metrics for Apple Watch users.

FuturHealth says the integration makes it easier for members to follow exercise recommendations from medical professionals, especially strength training, which is often advised for those taking GLP-1 weight-loss drugs to help preserve muscle mass.

The new benefit joins other recent FuturHealth updates, including:

  • Affirm flexible payment options for members

  • A Valisure partnership to ensure medication safety and quality

  • Clinical data showing better outcomes when combining FuturHealth programs with GLP-1 treatments versus medication alone

With a network of over 350 providers across 48 states and 1.5 million patients served, FuturHealth is positioning itself at the intersection of telehealth, weight-loss medicine, and the booming fitness industry — an area analysts believe could represent a $6.8 billion opportunity in the U.S. as GLP-1 use grows.

Members can redeem their free Apple Fitness+ subscription directly through the FuturHealth app’s home screen.
