Viceroy Hotels & Resorts is bringing mindfulness to your travel itinerary with a new partnership designed to support the physical and emotional well-being of guests on the move. Launching June 16, the luxury hotel group is collaborating with The Class, a renowned movement and mindfulness method created by Taryn Toomey, to roll out on-demand video content and on-property experiences focused on grounding travelers amidst the chaos of modern life.
The initiative aims to make wellness more accessible and intuitive for guests — offering six video practices tailored specifically for travel, including morning routines, sculpt and stretch sessions, post-travel resets, and tension-relief flows. Available in-room and throughout select Viceroy properties, the classes follow The Class’s distinctive format that blends breathwork, repetitive movement, and stillness to enhance both physical and emotional regulation.
“The goal was to offer something simple and accessible that fits naturally into a guest’s day,” said Jessica Luzzi, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing at Viceroy. “We looked for a partner that could bring structure and meaning to the way people move while traveling.”
A Practice for Travelers in Transition
Founded in 2011 by Taryn Toomey, The Class has cultivated a devoted following by blending cathartic movement with mindfulness — creating space for transformation through physical expression. The partnership with Viceroy is a natural evolution of Toomey’s vision, meeting guests where they are: between flights, across time zones, or away from daily routines.
“These practices are designed to meet people in transition—between time zones, environments, or routines—and help them settle back into their bodies,” said Toomey.
The programming will initially be available at six Viceroy locations:
Viceroy Chicago
Viceroy Washington D.C.
Viceroy Los Cabos
Viceroy Snowmass
Viceroy Santa Monica
Viceroy at Ombria Algarve (Portugal)
In addition to the video sessions, Viceroy and The Class will host live experiences and wellness retreats across their portfolio, offering guests the chance to engage with the practice in person. The rollout follows a recent pop-up in Portugal celebrating the opening of The Spa by Viceroy, a key milestone in the brand’s continued focus on holistic hospitality.
The Future of Wellness-First Travel
This partnership marks a growing shift in how luxury travel brands integrate mind-body wellness into the guest experience. With wellness tourism on the rise — expected to reach $1.3 trillion globally by 2025, according to the Global Wellness Institute — travelers are increasingly seeking moments of reflection and self-care alongside their cultural or leisure activities.
By weaving meaningful wellness into the fabric of the guest journey, Viceroy and The Class are creating an offering that’s not just about amenities, but transformation.
