Andaz Miami Beach has officially opened its doors, marking the Florida debut of the Andaz brand and the first launch under the newly formed Hyatt Lifestyle Group. Nestled along the quieter stretch of Mid-Beach but just moments from the vibrant heart of South Beach, the hotel offers a laid-back luxury experience with design that reflects the rhythm of the ocean.
The 287-room property, including 64 suites, was brought to life by EoA Group and Hyatt’s in-house Lifestyle Group design team. Owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, the hotel embraces soft, flowing architecture that mimics the shoreline, trading harsh angles for gentle curves. Guests are welcomed into rooms with sweeping views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the dynamic Miami skyline.
The highlight of the experience may be the hotel’s culinary offerings, all crafted by the José Andrés Group. Two venues are already open: Aguasal, a relaxed spot near the beach, and Bar Centro, a sleek cocktail destination. Later this year, the property will unveil The Bazaar by José Andrés, a much-anticipated addition that promises to bring the chef’s signature creativity to Miami Beach.
Beyond dining, Andaz Miami Beach features two heated pools lined with private cabanas, a soon-to-open spa, and a members’ beach club set on a private stretch of white sand. These amenities aim to offer both vibrant energy and moments of calm—perfectly suited to the dual spirit of Miami.
