IHG Brings Vignette Collection’s Unique Luxury to France

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) is making a significant splash in the French hospitality scene with the announcement of its first Vignette Collection property in the country. This exciting development marks a major milestone for the brand’s European expansion and underscores IHG’s commitment to luxury experiences. Partnering with Global Hotels & Resorts (GHR), IHG will be transforming the existing Tiara Miramar and Tiara Yaktsa hotels in Théoule sur Mer into a stunning Vignette Collection property, set to open in 2026.

This new hotel will join the Vignette Collection’s rapidly growing family of independent hotels, a key part of IHG’s impressive luxury and lifestyle portfolio. The Vignette Collection is known for its unique and characterful properties, and the Théoule sur Mer location promises to be no exception.

Nestled against the dramatic backdrop of the Massif de l’Esterel, the hotel will offer breathtaking Riviera views. Located in the picturesque town of Théoule sur Mer, guests will have easy access to a variety of activities, from scenic walking trails to exhilarating water sports. The hotel will also feature on-site meeting and event spaces, making it an ideal choice for a range of occasions. Guests can look forward to not only the tranquility and charm of the combined properties, but also exclusive amenities, including the iconic red rock beaches and Michelin-starred dining experiences. Multiple swimming pools, a state-of-the-art gym, a relaxing spa, and a stylish bar will further enhance the guest experience.

This new venture highlights the impressive momentum behind IHG’s newest luxury and lifestyle collection. In just three years, the Vignette Collection has already surpassed the halfway mark in its ambitious ten-year goal of attracting 100 hotels. The French property joins an existing European presence of 10 open hotels, including the recently opened Verno House Budapest, Vignette Collection and The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection, as well as a global portfolio of over 50 signed and pipeline properties.

The arrival of the Vignette Collection in France also marks the introduction of IHG’s sixth luxury and lifestyle brand to the country. With five of these brands already represented in the region, including iconic hotels like the Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, the Kimpton St Honoré Paris, the InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu, the Hotel Indigo: Paris – Opera, and the Six Senses Courchevel, IHG is solidifying its presence in the French luxury market. This new addition brings IHG’s total portfolio in France to 70 open hotels across ten brands, plus 12 more in the pipeline.
