Orient Express Unveils Yacht – Orient Express Corinthian

The iconic Orient Express brand is charting a bold new course with the launch of its first luxury yacht, Orient Express Corinthian, set to sail in June 2026. Blending the timeless elegance of the Orient Express legacy with cutting-edge design and sustainability, this 220-meter sailing yacht will cruise the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Caribbean seas, offering an unparalleled experience of exploration and indulgence.

A Masterpiece of Design and Innovation

Orient Express Corinthian is designed by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, a world leader in advanced shipbuilding, and boasts an architectural vision by Maxime d’Angeac, Artistic Director of Orient Express. With three inclinable masts supporting 4,500 m² of sails, the yacht can harness the power of the wind to reach speeds of up to 17 knots, making it not only a technological marvel but also a step forward in sustainable luxury travel.

Orient Express Corinthian reinvents movement and comfort on the water, inspired by the golden age of luxury cruises,” said Sébastien Bazin, Accor Group Chairman & CEO. “This yacht is a dreamlike embodiment of the Orient Express spirit, offering a new perspective on the world’s most breathtaking destinations.”

Redefining Elegance and Comfort

The yacht features 54 suites, ranging from 45 m² to an opulent 230 m², with panoramic bay windows that open onto sweeping sea views. Decked out in wood, leather, and marble, each suite is a serene retreat, meticulously crafted by some of France’s most skilled artisans.

Passengers can enjoy world-class dining in five distinct restaurants, unwind in one of eight sophisticated bars—including a 1930s-inspired speakeasy—and revel in the ambiance of a Parisian-style cabaret. Additional amenities include a recording studio, a cinema, a luxurious spa, and a marina for sea-level dining and aquatic adventures.

For relaxation, guests can retreat to the 16.6-meter swimming pool on deck six, a serene spot designed for both leisure and fitness.

Continuing the Orient Express Legacy

Marking 140 years since the launch of its first luxury trains, the Orient Express brand expands its storied history with this maritime venture. “The Corinthian embodies a contemporary vision of the Orient Express,” said Maxime d’Angeac. “It’s a revolution in design and excellence, celebrating craftsmanship, innovation, and the art of travel.”

The yacht promises to offer unique voyages that blend luxury, sustainability, and a deep connection with the sea. Guests will have the chance to explore iconic moorings and hidden gems, crafting unforgettable memories aboard a vessel that is both a technological wonder and a floating palace.

With Orient Express Corinthian, the legend of the Orient Express enters a new chapter, redefining luxury travel on the world’s finest seas.
