Virgin Atlantic has announced its return to Cancun, Mexico, with a new direct service from London Heathrow to Cancun starting October 19, 2025. The route will be the only direct option from Heathrow to Cancun, offering UK travelers convenient access to Mexico’s famous beaches, culture, and historical sites.
The service will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. Outbound flights will depart from Heathrow at 10:10 a.m., arriving in Cancun at 4:15 p.m. local time. Return flights leave Cancun at 6:45 p.m., landing in London at 9:05 a.m. the following day. Tickets go on sale December 4, 2024, with fares starting at £562 for a round-trip Economy ticket.
The new service also opens up seamless onward connections across Central and South America, thanks to partnerships with Aeromexico and LATAM Airlines.
