99% of Commuter Rail Service Restored Today in Valencia

Commuter rail services in Valencia are set to resume at 99% capacity today, according to an announcement from the Minister of Transport. However, the town of Cheste will remain without service for the time being.

Lines C1 and C2 will operate with bus transfers from Carcaixent to Valencia’s city center, while Line C3 will have full bus service starting from Utiel. Authorities expect a full restoration of rail services by December 22.

Starting November 14, high-speed trains will also begin operating between Valencia and Madrid. Renfe, Iryo, and Ouigo have already opened ticket sales for this date. Renfe has announced plans to offer 80,000 seats per week with approximately 200 trips available.

While Iryo and Ouigo have yet to release official statements about their schedules, tickets for their services are now available for purchase on their websites for November 14 onward.
