PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP PLK) has initiated the commercialization process for retail and service spaces at the newly modernized Warszawa Zachodnia station, set to transform Poland’s busiest transport hub into a bustling shopping center. The planned Galeria Warszawa Zachodnia, strategically located in one of Warsaw’s most dynamic areas, will offer entrepreneurs an unparalleled opportunity to reach thousands of potential customers each day.
The station, following its extensive modernization, will become an attractive destination for shoppers and travelers alike, capitalizing on its role as the largest railway station in Poland. Serving up to 1,000 suburban and long-distance trains daily, Warszawa Zachodnia will cater to over 100,000 passengers per day. This high footfall, combined with a central position in the capital, makes it a highly desirable location for businesses seeking visibility and accessibility.
Adding to the appeal, a new tram route between Wola and Wilanów is set to run beneath the station, further improving connectivity. Adjacent to the site, the PKS Central Bus Station also draws approximately 3.3 million passengers annually, underscoring the area’s importance as a central transport hub.
PKP PLK’s commercialization initiative aims to position Galeria Warszawa Zachodnia as a key shopping and services destination, offering diverse retail and service options that will cater to the vast and varied customer base. The project is expected to bring significant benefits to the local economy, with the potential to drive retail growth and create a thriving commercial atmosphere within the station complex.
With construction progressing rapidly, Warszawa Zachodnia is set to not only enhance Warsaw’s transport infrastructure but also establish itself as a prime retail destination.
