Norse Atlantic Airways has announced a new seasonal route connecting Rome’s Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), set to launch on May 22, 2025. The service will operate three times a week, with the airline deploying its 338-seat, two-class aircraft on the transatlantic route.
This new connection makes Rome Fiumicino Norse Atlantic’s second seasonal destination from Los Angeles, following the return of the carrier’s summer route to Oslo Gardermoen (OSL) in 2025. With the Rome-Los Angeles flights, Norse will offer approximately 1,014 seats weekly between the two cities, amounting to around 4,500 seats per month.
On the FCO-LAX route, Norse will face competition from ITA Airways, which already operates flights on the route with Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured for 334 passengers. The addition of Norse’s service provides travelers with more options and marks a continued expansion for Norse Atlantic in the seasonal transatlantic market.
