Rocco Forte Hotels has announced the upcoming launch of its third property in Sicily, set to open in 2026. The new hotel, Palazzo Castelluccio, will be located in the historic town of Noto and will occupy a beautifully restored 18th-century palazzo. With 31 rooms, the hotel promises a blend of historic elegance and modern luxury.
Olga Polizzi, deputy chair and director of design at Rocco Forte Hotels, emphasized that the restoration will retain many of the palazzo’s original features. The final design will highlight the building’s “inherited charm and contemporary luxury,” offering a unique experience that celebrates both history and sophistication.
Guests at Palazzo Castelluccio will enjoy a variety of high-end amenities, including a restaurant, bar, garden lounge, spa, gym, and meeting and event spaces. The rooms will feature intricate trompe l’oeil wall designs and antique furnishings, further enhancing the palazzo’s timeless atmosphere.
This new addition will join Villa Igiea and Verdura Resort as part of Rocco Forte’s growing presence in Sicily. The company also has plans to expand further in Italy, with new hotels in Milan, Sardinia, and Naples expected to open within the next three years.
With Palazzo Castelluccio, Rocco Forte Hotels continues its tradition of merging historic architecture with luxurious, contemporary hospitality, offering guests a unique and memorable experience in one of Italy’s most picturesque locations.
