IHG Hotels & Resorts announces the return of its iconic InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand to Serbia after a 20-year hiatus. In partnership with Delta Holding, IHG will open the InterContinental Belgrade by the end of 2026, marking a significant addition to its portfolio in the Balkans.
The InterContinental Belgrade will offer a luxurious experience with 203 elegantly designed rooms, including 28 Premium Rooms, 15 Junior Suites, 2 Superior Suites, 2 Executive Suites, and a lavish Presidential Suite that boasts panoramic views of the city. Tailored for both leisure and business travelers, the hotel will provide a blend of comfort and sophistication.
The hotel’s design will feature timeless architecture and a host of unique amenities, including a stunning sky pool, a rooftop restaurant and bar, and a terrace offering fine dining. Guests will also have access to a state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, a grand ballroom, a lobby lounge, a café, a patisserie, and versatile meeting spaces.
Strategically located in the ‘Delta District,’ a new mixed-use development in Belgrade’s thriving business and financial hub, InterContinental Belgrade will offer direct connections to the newly renovated Sava Centar, the largest convention and exhibition space in the region. This prime location makes the hotel ideal for both business events and luxury getaways.
IHG currently operates three hotels in Serbia, all situated in the capital: Hotel Indigo Belgrade, Crowne Plaza Belgrade, and Holiday Inn Belgrade. Additionally, two Holiday Inn Express properties are in development. The new InterContinental Belgrade will join a growing portfolio of nearly 20 open and pipeline properties across the Balkans, including in Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.
