Transportadora Aérea Cabo Verdeana (TACV) has announced the commencement of direct weekly flights between the island of Sal and Barcelona, starting on July 30th. This new route, operated in collaboration with tour operator CN TRAVEL, aims to enhance the promotion of Cape Verde as a tourist destination in the Spanish market and improve the country’s air connectivity.
The flights will take place every Tuesday and will initially be sold exclusively by the tour operator. TACV stated that this approach is intended to align operational capacity with market demand.
By introducing this new route, Cape Verde’s national airline seeks to attract more Spanish tourists to the archipelago, thereby boosting the tourism sector and contributing to the country’s economic growth.
