The new Saudi Arabian airline, Riyadh Air, unveiled uniforms for its flight attendants and flight crews during Paris Fashion Week. The stylish looks were created by ASHI Studio designers from Saudi Arabia, with whom Riyadh Air has partnered to develop and create the first line of uniforms for their crew members.
The collection includes both men’s and women’s outfits, with 15 of them showcased on the runway. This exclusive clothing line is inspired by the “Golden Age of Air Travel” of the 1950s and features a wide range of wardrobe items, including outerwear. All pieces are made from high-quality materials such as cashmere, fine wool, and leather. Special attention has also been given to accessories, which include amethyst earrings and pillbox hats reminiscent of mid-century flight attendant fashion but with a modern twist.
The color palette of the collection consists of various shades of purple: Electric Amethyst for women and Dark Amethyst for men. These colors are also used in the company’s corporate style and aircraft livery. The shades of purple and lavender are meant to evoke the lavender fields of Saudi Arabia.
The launch of the new airline is expected in mid-2025.
