In Moscow, a grand opening ceremony was held for the new three-star hotel, Cosmos Smart Moscow Semenovskaya, located at 34A Velyaminovskaya Street.
The portfolio of the Cosmos Hotel Group, the largest hotel company in Russia, has been expanded with a new property – a three-star hotel in Moscow. Cosmos Smart Moscow Semenovskaya becomes the fifth smart hotel in the company’s portfolio, the seventh hotel in the Moscow cluster, and the 35th hotel overall in the Cosmos Hotel Group. The total room capacity of the Cosmos Hotel Group is approximately 10,000 rooms.
The concept of the Cosmos Smart Moscow Semenovskaya hotel includes 120 rooms of various categories, high-quality service, innovative proprietary building and interior design equipped to international standards, as well as a cozy restaurant (with over 70 seats), a bar, and a conference room for up to 30 people.
The Cosmos Smart Moscow Semenovskaya hotel is primarily aimed at accommodating business travelers and numerous tourist groups. The hotel is conveniently located in terms of transportation accessibility and proximity to cultural heritage sites (Izmailovo Estate and Izmailovsky Park, as well as Semenovskaya Embankment).
The concept of Cosmos Hotel Group’s smart hotels consists of several key values: functional and ergonomic design to make it easy for guests to get everything they need with minimal effort; affordable service based on an optimal balance of high quality at reasonable prices.
Alexander Biba, President of Cosmos Hotel Group, noted that “The opening of the Cosmos Smart Moscow Semenovskaya hotel is an important stage in the development of the hotel network not only for our company but also for the overall tourist infrastructure of the capital. Such modern urban accommodation facilities, meeting international service standards in the budget category, are in high demand among tourists.
Moscow and St. Petersburg are experiencing a noticeable shortage of such hotels. According to official data, Moscow has become one of the most popular tourist destinations this summer among Russian and foreign tourists. This is confirmed by the occupancy data of our hotels in Moscow in 2023 – about 80%. The construction of hotels of various star categories will ultimately lead to a significant improvement in the quality of hotel services in Moscow.”
