Armenian national carrier Fly Arna has suspended flights citing “operational revisions” in January 2024.
In a brief statement on the Fly Arna’s website, the company says its flights “are currently on hold” whilst it undergoes operational revisions.
“The carrier is actively working on resuming its services and looks forward to welcoming passengers back onboard soon,” the statement says.
Fly Arna, a venture between Middle Eastern budget airline Air Arabia and the Armenian National Interests Fund, launched flights in July 2022.
At the beginning of June 2022, the air carrier received an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and a certificate for regular commercial air transportation (AOL). The first flight was made on July 3 of the same year to Egyptian Hurghada International Airport.
