In accordance with the restrictions lifted by Rosaviatsiya and the reopening of Makhachkala Airport, Red Wings airline will resume flights to/from Makhachkala starting from October 31, with the exception of flights to Tel Aviv, said a representative from the company.

Details regarding the operations of flights from Makhachkala to Israel will be provided separately.

Makhachkala Airport has resumed the acceptance and departure of aircraft from 14:00 Moscow time on Monday. Hundreds of people stormed into the airport a day before and rushed onto the landing field, chanting antisemitic slogans and seeking passengers arriving on a flight from Tel Aviv. The damage incurred at the airport due to the mass disturbances is currently estimated to be in the range of several million rubles. The incurred damage has affected various equipment, infrastructure facilities, surveillance cameras, and fencing on the premises.
