YOTEL has announced a new hotel in Bangkok, Thailand with the signing of YOTEL Bangkok.
Scheduled to open in 2025, the new hotel will be part of the groundbreaking Cloud 11 project—a mixed-use development spanning 250,000 square meters. Cloud 11 aims to become a vibrant hub for artists, makers, and tech entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. Notably, it will feature Thailand’s largest rooftop park, acting as a green lung within the urban landscape.
This announcement marks YOTEL’s third signing in 2023, aligning with the brand’s growth strategy to reach 50 hotels by 2025.
Cloud 11, designed by the renowned Snøhetta in collaboration with A49 Architects, is developed by Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), a prominent Thai real estate developer. The project seeks to connect the Asian creative industry with cutting-edge entertainment technology. With a focus on gaming, music and podcasting, film and animation, and digital innovation, Cloud 11 will serve as a dynamic hub, unlocking a multitude of possibilities for creators.
YOTEL Bangkok offers guests a cutting-edge and tech-savvy experience from check-in to check-out. With 250 rooms, the hotel will showcase YOTEL’s latest features, including their renowned robotic concierge, motorized SmartBedsâ„¢, and seamless integration of advanced technologies. Guests can enjoy the brand’s versatile dining and co-working space, a 24-hour fitness center, a convenient Grab + Go snack station, as well as two meeting hubs designed for networking and relaxation. Additionally, guests, Cloud 11 visitors, and locals will have access to the sky bar on the 22nd floor, offering stunning views of Bang Krachao, known as the green lung of Bangkok.
Located just a stone’s throw away from the BTS SkyTrain, YOTEL Bangkok provides direct and convenient access to some of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, such as Thong Lo, Ekkamai, and Asoke, as well as the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Bang Na. The hotel is also well-connected to both international airports, making commuting hassle-free for guests on the go. Nearby, guests can explore various retail and dining options, versatile event halls, and an educational institute, allhin walking distance.
Cloud 11, positioned as a futuristic tech village, is a key project in MQDC’s plan to develop the area into Bangkok’s premier South Sukhumvit Innovation District. Situated opposite True Digital Park, Southeast Asia’s largest tech and startup hub, which was completed in 2022 and also developed by MQDC, Cloud 11 embraces green and open spaces. YOTEL Bangkok will be at the heart of this emerging tech-focused neighborhood.
The signing of YOTEL Bangkok follows the recent announcement of YOTEL Tokyo (opening late 2024), underscoring the brand’s commitment to growth in the region. The property will join YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road and YOTELAIR Singapore Changi as part of YOTEL’s presence in Asia.
