The French startup Zephalto plans to launch tourist trips to space (height of 25 kilometers above the Earth) by 2025. The flights will be carried out on a stratostat – an airship designed for flights in the stratosphere.
Tourists will be located in a specially sealed capsule built on the principle of an airplane cabin. This will make the flights accessible regardless of physical fitness.
The journey will take 3 hours.
The company plans to operate around 60 flights per year, with up to six passengers on board at the same time.
Prices for such a flight start at 120,000 euros per person.
