From October 30, Turkish Airlines will connect Panama City with Istanbul.
Turkey’s national airline, based in Istanbul, currently operates a daily flight on the Istanbul-Bogotá-Panama-Istanbul route, however, as of October 30, it modifies air services by adding 3 non-stop flights to and from Panama on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, for a total of 10 connection frequencies.
The general manager of Tocumen S.A., Raffoul Arab, indicated that the company’s decision to establish a direct route to the Tocumen airport confirms the confidence in the Panamanian market, making our country the preferred connection in the Americas, which contributes to the development tourism, economic and social of Panama.
Tocumen, S.A. is a company 100% owned by the Panamanian State, created by Law 23 of January 29, 2003, regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority and meets the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It self-manages its income, contributes to the State, to the Tourism Authorities of Panama, Civil Aeronautics; to the National Commission for the Prevention of Crimes of Sexual Exploitation (CONAPREDES), and is subject to the general laws and regulations applicable to public institutions in the country.
