Italy Drops All Travel Restrictions

Many European countries have relaxed travel restrictions in spring. However, Italy had severe restrictions in place. From 1 June, Italy is removing travel restrictions, at least temporarily. Since the 1st June 2022, the green pass is no more required to enter Italy from EU Member States and other foreign countries.

“The ordinance of the Minister of Health which provides for the Green Certification Covid-19 (green pass) to enter Italy expires on May 31. The measure will not be extended,” Ministry says.

Now that the COVID-19 entry rules have been dropped, all travelers will no longer be required to present a vaccination, recovery, or test certificate upon their arrival.

From June 1, Germany will suspend the 3G rule until the end of August.

Since May 21, Spain has lifted the entry ban on non-vaccinated travellers from third countries.
