Spike Aerospace and Tech Mahindra announced they will be collaborating on the development of the Spike S-512 through an MOU signed today. The partnership will add Tech Mahindra’s strengths in engineering, optimization and composites to the development of the first low-boom supersonic jet to the market.

Spike will be able to leverage their expertise in composite airframe design, stress analysis and optimization. Tech Mahindra has provided engineering support to several programs and we are proud to have them as a partner on the Spike S-512 Supersonic Jet program.”
Tech Mahindra joins a growing collaboration of leading aerospace firms around the globe all working towards the introduction of the Spike S-512 Supersonic Jet, an 18 passenger, Mach 1.6 low-sonic boom aircraft that will cut flight times by almost 50%.
Tech Mahindra’s Aerospace & Defense Group provides design & analysis, verification, testing & certification support to numerous commercial, business and defense aviation programs.

Spike Aerospace is applying 60 years of advances in aircraft design, composite materials and highly efficient engines to substantially reduce fuel consumption, engine noise and greenhouse gases. The company has developed a pathway to fully zero-carbon flight by 2040.
