Christmas Trees are awaited in the main European cities. They symbolize Christmas festivities with their chalets, mulled wine, pastries… Everyone is proud of their Christmas tree whether young or old.
An unusual high-tech Christmas tree installed in the center of Vilnius was named the most beautiful Christmas tree in Europe in 2020 by the European Best Destinations tourism organization.
Visually, the Christmas tree looks like a surrealist picture – a modern 24-meter tall composition is surrounded by 6,000 live and fragrant branches decorated with almost 4 km of colour-changing RGB Christmas lights, 800 silver ornaments, and 150 sq. m of shining mirrors.
The second best Christmas tree is from Strasbourg (France), which bears the informal title of the capital of Christmas. The third place took the Christmas tree from Prague.
In total, the collection includes 19 Christmas trees from European cities. Among them there are living trees and installations. The main thing, according to the compilers of the rating, is that this symbol brings people a festive mood and allows them not to lose their presence of mind even in difficult epidemiological conditions.
