EL AL Israel Airlines Resumes Miami-Tel Aviv Service

EL AL Israel Airlines resumed nonstop flights from Tel Aviv to Miami International Airport on October 25, bringing direct service to Israel back to the Sunshine State for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic in March. EL AL will operate one weekly roundtrip flight on Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner aircraft seating 271 until November 15, when the service is scheduled to increase to three times per week.

EL AL is the third airline to resume service at MIA this month, following Avianca’s return on October 1 with a total of 16 weekly flights, and Air France’s restart on October 6 with three weekly flights to Paris – MIA’s first service to France since March. EL AL’s return also brings MIA’s total number of passenger carriers operating scheduled service to 23. Combined, the airlines generated MIA’s busiest week of post-pandemic passenger traffic to date – more than 270,000 passengers from October 18-24.

Airline schedules are subject to change due to government travel restrictions, so passengers should confirm flight availability with their individual airline.
