Hilton Grand Vacations announces the official name of the Sesokojima resort: The Beach Resort Sesoko by Hilton Club. The resort name is inspired by the untouched, natural beauty of northern Okinawa’s secluded Sesoko Island, with abundant white sand beaches, uninterrupted ocean views and picturesque sunsets.
The ten-story project will feature 140 units of studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with full kitchens and private balconies to enjoy ocean and sunset views. The new-build development marks HGV’s second timeshare resort in Japan.
“We are excited this project is coming closer to reality thanks to our partnership with Hilton and Mori Trust,” said Jeff Bernier, regional sr. vice president of sales and marketing, APAC. “Additionally, Okinawa has been a top requested domestic destination from more than 66,000 Club Member families in Japan and will provide them with more choices in creating lasting vacation memories.”
In addition to an exclusive resort pool, HGV owners and guests will have full access to amenities in the adjacent hotel, Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort, including three restaurants, a lounge and bar, meeting rooms, fitness facilities, an outdoor and indoor pool, and a spa.
The company is proud to also announce the opening of Hilton Grand Vacations Sesoko Vacation Gallery. The gallery marks HGV’s 12th sales center in Japan. Existing galleries are located in Okinawa, Hokkaido, Yokohama, Odawara, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe and Fukuoka with three sales centers in the Tokyo area (Hibiya, Shinjuku and Tokyo Bay). The sales gallery is located on the second floor of Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort
HGV was thrilled to work once more with designer Yukio Hashimoto, who also designed the company’s first Japan resort in Odawara.
“With HGV’s resorts located in places of exquisite beauty, this gallery is also designed to enhance the natural elements of its surroundings,” said designer Yukio Hasimoto. “Creating a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere in the gallery is a reflection of the quality and care that HGV offers to customers at every point of their journey in vacation ownership.”
Along with a marketing desk, the gallery employs three sales tables equipped with Envision, an HGV created and owned promotional technology to enhance the sales experience for customers. The orange curtain that wraps around each of the meeting spaces reflects the colors of Okinawa’s illustrious sunrises and sunsets that fill the space each day. Bringing the essence of the property to customers, the wallpaper and pillows used will match those in the resort units.
Accessible by bridge, the resort is about 1.5 hours by car from Naha Airport and close to a number of attractions, including Okinawa Chura-umi Aquarium, world heritage site Nakijin Castle, and Motobu Port.
The timeshare resort will be owned and managed by HGV with construction by Mori Trust, marking the first venture between the two companies.
