Wizz Air announced today a new route from its Katowice base. Starting 25 April 2019, WIZZ will operate weekly flight, on Thursday, from Katowice to Fuerteventura in Canary Islands, Spain.

Fuerteventura is famous for its volcanic soil, great beaches and strong wind, creating the island as a paradise for surfers and kite surfers. The island was also chosen as one of the most attractive tourist destinations for visitors interested in cultural heritage, environment and sustainability.

Since its first flight in 2004, Wizz Air has constantly expanded its operations in Katowice.
