Bulkhead seats are the row of seats right behind the wall within the aircraft. Although bulkhead seats provide slightly more legroom and eliminate the discomfort of reclining forward seats, these seats are also designated for passengers with infants, and seat rests between the seats are fixed and cannot be lifted.
