Starting December 1st, LEGO enthusiasts can embark on a new building adventure with the release of the highly anticipated The Orient Express Train set. Priced at $299.99, this intricately designed LEGO set promises a detailed and immersive construction experience.
The craftsmanship of the set is evident in the meticulous attention to detail, exemplified by elements such as the floral-patterned panels inspired by the work of René and Suzanne Lalique. The original panels were crafted from plane wood, and the intricate decoration was achieved using silver powder and pressed glass.
When you put the entire train set together, the Orient Express stretches to an impressive 116 cm (46 in.) long and 12 cm (4.5 in.) high. The set includes a booklet detailing the incredible history of the Orient Express, as well as interviews with the LEGO version’s designer and creative team.
