Hapag-Lloyd to Sail Western Australia

In the 2020/2021 season, the luxury Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ ship EUROPA 2 will set sail for amazing hotspots, glamorous harbours, spectacular nature and varied coastal landscapes. The west coast of Australia is a new addition to EUROPA 2’s itineraries. Other appealing cruises will head for the Mediterranean, western and northern Europe, the Caribbean, Oceania, Asia and across the Indian Ocean to Africa. Fashion, art, sport and music enthusiasts can also choose from exciting themed formats.

Western Australia premiere
On this maiden route, guests can look forward to sandboarding in the desert, seeing giant red tingle trees in the Valley of the Giants and experience encounters with dolphins, emus and koalas. The cruise starts in Melbourne, a city considered one of the most liveable in the world. From there, guests will cruise to the coastal city of Adelaide and then visit Kangaroo Island and Albany, Australia’s oldest town. Next up is Busselton in the famous Margaret River wine region, followed by Fremantle (Perth), Geraldton and Exmouth. After several days of relaxation at sea, the cruise will end on Bali, the “island of the gods”.

FASHION2NIGHT – the fashion highlight of spring 2020
FASHION2NIGHT takes guests from Hamburg to the northern German port city of Kiel, via the Kiel Canal and Copenhagen on the ship rated as 5-stars-plus by the Berlitz Cruise Guide 2019. The highlight of the cruise is a fashion show by a renowned designer, which takes place on the catwalk above the pool. Enthusiasts can also opt for another fashion-focused format with an eight-day FASHION2SEA cruise from Lisbon to Mallorca.

ART2SEA in South Africa
In 2021, the ART2SEA cruise heads to South Africa – taking guests from Cape Town to Namibia, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Mossel Bay and back to Cape Town. As well as seeing the impressive landscape and fauna, guests will also gain insights into the international art world and visit exclusive exhibitions, galleries and museums. Renowned art experts will be on hand to share their expertise.

IN2BALANCE – a journey to find your inner balance
On various cruises, renowned experts and trainers will present innovative training methods and the relaxation techniques of the Far East: yoga in all its variations, burnout prevention, t’ai chi, shiatsu and interval training. The latest findings in nutritional science will also be incorporated. The coaches are three-time Olympic champion and two-time world champion Maria Höfl-Riesch, Olympic and world champion Fabian Hambüchen, top chef, author and former nutrition coach for the German national football team Holger Stromberg, and the well-known yoga tutor and author specialising in relaxation and regeneration Shida Pourhosseini.

Guests on these cruises in the Mediterranean and Western and northern Europe will swap large concert halls for acoustic and personal shows with the stars.
