The 2024 LinkedIn Jobs on the Rise list reveals the fastest-growing professions in the U.S. over the past five years and the trends defining the future world of work.

The world of work is changing — from how and where we get our jobs done to the skills needed to get ahead. LinkedIn data shows that skill sets for jobs have changed 25% since 2015 and are projected to shift by 65% by 2030 globally. Meanwhile, the acceleration of artificial intelligence and automation has created new opportunities and challenges for workers and companies alike.

Such transformation is evident in this year’s Jobs on the Rise list, a data-backed ranking of the 25 fastest-growing jobs in the U.S. over the past five years. More than two-thirds (68%) of this year’s Jobs on the Rise didn’t even exist 20 years ago, our data shows, including seven of the top ten titles.
