Fairmont New Orleans to open in summer 2025.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Kailas Companies today announced the official start of the downtown redevelopment project of 1010 Common Street, which will mark the return of the iconic Fairmont brand to New Orleans. The new hotel in New Orleans is slated to open in the summer of 2025.

Extraordinary, and luxurious, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is known for its engaging service and its famously grand hotels, which are centrally located within the heart of each of its destinations. Fairmont New Orleans is no exception, a 31-story skyscraper and the city’s 10th tallest building, is located at 1010 Common Street in the Central Business District.
Fairmont New Orleans will occupy 18 stories within the building, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, including 40 suites ranging from one-bedrooms to specialty suites. There will be three food & drink venues throughout the property, including an all-day-dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a rooftop bar and speakeasy overlooking a swimming pool with expansive views of the city.
