Entering Austria no longer requires proof of vaccination, recovery passes, or testing after all COVID-19-related entry requirements were dropped from Monday, May 16th.
The so-called “3-G” rule (vaccinated/recovered or tested) has been lifted on Monday, 16 May, for arrivals from all countries.
Currently, no Pre-Travel-Clearance is required when entering Austria.
New entry rules should remain lifted until the end of September.
While Austria has lifted its entry requirements, other countries have chosen to keep them in place. For example, Germany, Spain, and Portugal still require proof of vaccination, recovery, or testing to enter the country.
The list of countries that have dropped all pandemic-related travel restrictions continues to grow. Now you can add Greece and Switzerland to that list.
