Enter Air has taken an 85% stake in travel company Nekera after receiving the required regulatory approvals, according to the boards of the two firms.
The transaction gives Enter Air sp. z o.o., the airline’s subsidiary, control of most of Nekera’s shares. The companies said the purchase was completed only after the necessary consent from regulators was secured.
The move marks a further step in Enter Air’s expansion into the wider travel business. Nekera, based in Poland, operates in the travel sector and has now come under majority ownership by the Enter Air group.
Enter Air S.A. did not give financial terms for the deal in the information provided. It also did not say whether the acquisition will lead to any changes in Nekera’s management or day-to-day operations.
Enter Air is one of Poland’s best-known charter airlines and already has interests through subsidiaries in related parts of the travel market. The addition of Nekera strengthens its position across aviation and travel services.
