Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur has officially opened reservations, marking the luxury brand’s long-awaited debut in Malaysia. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, the new hotel introduces Waldorf Astoria’s signature hospitality alongside an all-suite luxury experience.
Positioned close to Bukit Bintang, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Twin Towers, the property aims to become one of the city’s premier destinations for luxury accommodation, fine dining, wellness and social events.
268 Luxury Suites in the Heart of Kuala Lumpur
The hotel features 268 suites ranging from 80-square-metre one-bedroom accommodations to the expansive 745-square-metre Waldorf Astoria Suite.
Each suite has been designed with spacious living areas, premium finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, catering to both short-term visitors and extended-stay guests.
Guest experiences are inspired by Layan Tetamu, a Malaysian philosophy of hospitality centred on sincerity, intuition and highly personalised service, reflecting the brand’s commitment to anticipatory luxury.
Dining Led by Internationally Acclaimed Chefs
Over the coming months, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur will introduce a collection of restaurants, bars and social venues featuring collaborations with internationally recognised chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The hotel’s dining programme will include a variety of destination restaurants and intimate gathering spaces designed to appeal to both hotel guests and local residents.
Luxury Wellness and Event Spaces
Wellness facilities will include the Waldorf Astoria Spa and a modern wellness centre offering personalised treatments, advanced therapies and dedicated spaces for fitness, recovery and relaxation.
The hotel will also feature a range of elegant event venues designed for weddings, gala dinners, celebrations and corporate gatherings, positioning the property as one of Kuala Lumpur’s leading luxury event destinations.

Etienne Dalançon, General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, said the hotel represents the revival of an iconic address, reimagined for a new generation of luxury travellers.
