P1 Motor Club is nearing completion of its new 3.0-mile Treasure Coast Circuit in Port St. Lucie, Florida, marking the first racing circuit to open at what will become one of the largest private motorsport clubs in the United States.
Spread across 650 acres, the development will eventually feature more than nine miles of purpose-built racing surfaces, luxury trackside residences and country club-style amenities, combining motorsports with residential and leisure facilities.
First Circuit Ready to Open
The Treasure Coast Circuit has been designed with three driving configurations, allowing the eastern and western sections of the track to operate simultaneously. The circuit also features one of only two FIA-grade bridges in the world, together with a 1,110-foot pit lane, a large paddock and dedicated fueling facilities.
“P1 is the most ambitious greenfield motorsports project in recent history, and we have over 260 members before we’ve formally opened our doors,” said Aurora Straus, founding partner of P1 Motor Club and a professional racing driver.
Straus said the circuits were developed with input from professional and amateur racers to create modern racing facilities that balance performance with safety while providing a destination designed for families as well as driving enthusiasts.
Second FIA Grade 2 Circuit Planned
The Treasure Coast Circuit will be joined by the larger 4.5-mile P1 Circuit, designed to FIA Grade 2 standards. The track will feature 22 corners, three driving configurations and more than 100 feet of elevation change, including a climb onto a Suzuka-inspired bridge followed by a blind downhill left-hand section.
Safety has been a central element of the design, with runoff areas measuring two to three times larger than FIA Grade 2 minimum requirements. The racing surfaces have been constructed by Sunland Paving, the company responsible for the second paving of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix circuit.
Multiple Motorsport Facilities
In addition to the two main race circuits, P1 Motor Club will include a 0.5-mile rally stage, a 0.25-mile drift circuit, a one-mile karting track and off-road driving trails. The development will also feature a members’ clubhouse, swimming pool, sports courts, as well as running and cycling trails.
Luxury Trackside Living
Members will have the option to purchase trackside real estate, including customizable garage townhomes and a limited collection of single-family residences overlooking the circuits.
The townhomes will offer one- to four-bedroom layouts with entertainment spaces, private suites and balconies overlooking the P1 Circuit, while the single-family homes will feature large garages, elevated viewing decks and panoramic track views, allowing residents to combine everyday living with direct access to the motorsport facilities.
