Starlux Airlines has announced plans to launch direct flights between Sydney and Taipei in 2027, adding a new long-haul link between Australia and Taiwan. The route will give travellers a non-stop option on one of the region’s busiest air corridors.

The airline says the service will open up more choice for leisure and business passengers, while also strengthening connections between the two cities. It comes as airlines continue to expand international networks across the Asia-Pacific after years of disruption and route changes.
