Alicante airport’s main bus route will increase to 10 departures a day from June 1, with a new timetable aimed at cutting waiting times for passengers travelling between the terminal and the city.
According to the updated schedule, the first bus from the airport will leave at 8.00 a.m., with the last departure at 10.15 p.m. The route also serves the city centre, giving passengers a more regular connection than before. The operator has not announced any change to fares, and no other service alterations were included in the update.
The increase to 10 daily departures suggests an effort to better match airport traffic patterns, especially as Alicante remains one of Spain’s busiest coastal destinations. For travellers, the main benefit will be shorter gaps between buses and a better chance of connecting with flights without a long wait at the terminal.
The timetable change is set to take effect at the start of June, placing the upgraded service in place for the peak holiday period. Passengers using the route should check departure times in advance, particularly if they are relying on public transport for early arrivals or late evening departures.
