The seasonal route will begin operations on 18 June and further strengthens transatlantic connectivity between Spain and North America during the peak summer travel season.
Three Weekly Flights Between Mallorca And Montreal
The new service will operate three times per week throughout the summer.
Flights from Palma de Mallorca will depart every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, while return services from Montreal will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The flight time between the two destinations is expected to be slightly more than eight hours.
Official Launch Event Held In Palma
The route launch was celebrated at Mallorca Son Moix Stadium with representatives from Air Canada, Canadian diplomatic offices and local Mallorcan authorities in attendance.
Among the participants were Air Canada senior director of sales EMEAI Margaret Skinner, Canadian consul in Spain Devon Zhang, representatives from Québec’s Barcelona office and Palma de Mallorca mayor Jaime MartÃnez Llabrés.

Air Canada said the new route is designed to support tourism, business travel and family connections between Canada and Spain.
The airline also highlighted the route’s role in improving access to Air Canada’s wider international network.

Passengers departing from Mallorca will gain access to onward connections through Montreal to destinations across Canada, the United States and South America.
The route additionally improves accessibility for Canadian travelers visiting Mallorca during the Mediterranean summer season.
