Atlas Ocean Voyages Unveils Asia And Africa Cruises For New Atlas Adventurer

Atlas Ocean Voyages is preparing to expand into new regions with the launch of its latest luxury expedition yacht, Atlas Adventurer, which will begin sailing in late 2028.

The cruise company has unveiled the inaugural season for the all-suite vessel, featuring a collection of expedition voyages across Asia and Africa.

The debut season will begin with a 12-night journey departing Kobe, Japan on 6 November 2028.

New Destinations Across Asia And Eastern Africa

The inaugural programme includes 16 expeditions ranging from eight to 21 nights in duration.

Voyages will explore destinations across Southeast Asia and Eastern Africa, including Indonesia, Thailand, Madagascar and Kenya.

Atlas Ocean Voyages said the new deployment marks a major expansion of the brand’s expedition portfolio while continuing its focus on immersive cultural travel experiences.

Voyages Designed For Cultural Immersion

The company said each itinerary has been developed to combine luxury yachting with deeper local engagement through regional cuisine, traditions and curated cultural experiences.

Its Epicurean Expeditions and Cultural Experiences programmes will play a central role throughout the voyages.

Atlas Ocean Voyages said the itineraries are intended to deliver both exploration and refinement for travellers seeking smaller-scale luxury expedition travel.

Australia-Friendly Sailings Included

The inaugural season also includes several voyages expected to appeal strongly to the Australian market.

These include the 13-night Island Treasures sailing from Bali to Manila departing on 6 January 2029, the 13-night The Coral Triangle itinerary from Manila to Singapore departing on 19 January 2029, and the nine-night Panoramas & Pagodas voyage from Singapore to Bali departing on 1 February 2029.

Luxury Suite Pricing Starts Above US$11,000

Launch pricing for the inaugural sailing begins at US$11,765 per guest for a Signature Collection Suite.

The fare includes a 10% Exclusive Inaugural Savings offer and equates to approximately US$1,000 per guest per night.

Atlas Targets High-End Expedition Market

Atlas Ocean Voyages president and chief executive James A. Rodriguez described the inaugural season as a defining milestone for the company.

He said Atlas Adventurer will allow the brand to introduce entirely new destinations while continuing to focus on immersive and culturally rich expedition travel experiences.

The launch further strengthens the growing trend toward smaller luxury expedition vessels operating in increasingly remote and experience-driven global destinations.
