Hilton has expanded its ultra-luxury portfolio in North Africa with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, marking the debut of the Waldorf Astoria brand in Morocco.
The property is located within the landmark Mohammed VI Tower, the tallest building in the country, positioned where the twin cities of Rabat and Salé meet along the Bouregreg River. The hotel features 55 rooms and suites, offering panoramic views stretching from the river to the Atlantic coastline.
Dining is a central focus of the new opening, with several concepts including Aldabaran, a signature restaurant led by Alain Ducasse. Guests also have access to a spa located across the 31st and 32nd floors, as well as an extensive private art collection displayed throughout the property.
The launch forms part of Hilton’s broader expansion strategy in Morocco, where the group plans to more than double its presence. The company has outlined ambitions to open 15 additional hotels across the country, spanning multiple brands and segments.
Upcoming developments include the introduction of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Morocco, alongside continued growth of Curio Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn.
The opening reflects Morocco’s growing appeal as a luxury travel destination, as international hotel groups increase investment to capture rising demand across both leisure and business travel segments.
