The Consumer Choice Center has unveiled its 2025 ranking of Europe’s best railway stations, with Zürich Hauptbahnhof in Switzerland claiming the top spot. The biggest surprise, however, comes from Poland: Wrocław Główny has taken second place, debuting in the list and surpassing renowned hubs in Berlin, Vienna, and Paris.
For many Ukrainians, Wrocław’s central station is more than just an architectural gem—it is a vital transport gateway to Europe. Conveniently located in southwestern Poland, it serves as a major hub for onward connections, particularly for travelers arriving from Ukraine.

Switzerland’s dominance is also notable, with both Zürich and Bern securing places in the top three, highlighting the country’s reputation for punctual, passenger-friendly, and well-equipped rail services.
The ranking is based on passenger reviews that evaluated station convenience, service accessibility, variety of shops and dining options, and overall customer experience.
