Red Sea Global (RSG) has announced the opening of Six Senses AMAALA, the latest luxury wellness resort on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. The beachfront property is scheduled to welcome its first guests in mid-July, marking another milestone in the development of the AMAALA destination.
The resort is the second collaboration between Red Sea Global and Six Senses, following the successful opening of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea, in 2023. It also becomes the second resort to open at AMAALA, with six additional luxury properties expected to launch before the end of the year.
Luxury Accommodation Inspired by Saudi Heritage
Designed to reflect the traditional architecture of Saudi Arabia’s coastal communities, Six Senses AMAALA blends into its natural surroundings of beaches, mangrove forests and desert mountains.
The resort features 100 luxury suites and villas alongside 25 branded residences, combining contemporary design with local architectural influences while maximizing views of the Red Sea coastline.
Focus on Wellness and Longevity
Wellness is at the heart of the resort’s concept. Guests have access to a dedicated Six Senses Spa featuring a Longevity Centre equipped with advanced wellness technologies and personalised treatment programmes.
Facilities include a Biohacking Recovery Lounge, Watsu therapy pool, sound dome, thermal experiences and a range of holistic treatments designed to support long-term wellbeing.
Dining and Sustainability
The culinary offering includes three signature restaurants serving fresh, locally inspired cuisine based on Six Senses’ wellness philosophy. Guests can also enjoy an artisan bakery, an in-house coffee roastery and a cooking school.
Sustainability remains a central element of the development. A mangrove lagoon forms the heart of the resort, while initiatives such as the Earth Lab and the Junior Mangrove Ecologist programme encourage guests to learn about local ecosystems and conservation efforts.
Gateway to the AMAALA Destination
Guests staying at Six Senses AMAALA will have direct access to many of the destination’s attractions, including the Corallium Marine Life Institute, the AMAALA Yacht Club, marine excursions, desert adventures, luxury retail outlets and a growing selection of restaurants.
Once fully completed, the AMAALA Triple Bay development will feature more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine luxury resorts, together with branded residences, wellness facilities, marinas, shopping and dining experiences.
Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Vision
AMAALA forms part of Red Sea Global’s contribution to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims to diversify the Kingdom’s economy through sustainable tourism development, create new employment opportunities and position Saudi Arabia among the world’s leading luxury travel destinations.
With the opening of Six Senses AMAALA, the Red Sea destination continues to expand its portfolio of high-end wellness resorts while showcasing the region’s unique coastal landscapes and commitment to regenerative tourism.
