The new route will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Flights will depart St. Petersburg at 05:00, with a scheduled flight time of approximately four hours.
The Ankara service marks the first time Turkey’s capital has been included in Pulkovo Airport’s route network, providing passengers with a direct link to one of the country’s key political, business and cultural centres.
AJet Continues Growth In Russia
AJet entered the St. Petersburg market in 2025 with the launch of flights to Istanbul. During its first year of operations, the airline carried more than 124,000 passengers on the route, supporting growing travel demand between Russia and Turkey.
The addition of Ankara strengthens AJet’s network from Pulkovo and offers travellers another non-stop option beyond Istanbul, benefiting both business and leisure passengers.
Turkey Remains A Key Destination
Turkey continues to rank among the most popular international destinations for Russian travellers. The launch of direct flights to Ankara provides easier access to the country’s capital while complementing existing services to major tourism hubs such as Istanbul and the Mediterranean coast.
