IHG Signs voco Udaipur Hotel As Premium Brand Expands Across India

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Circle View Estate Private Ltd to develop voco Udaipur, a new premium hotel scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2029.

The 140-room property will mark another milestone in the expansion of IHG’s fastest-growing premium brand in India and strengthen the group’s presence in Rajasthan, one of the country’s most important tourism markets.

Located on the foothills of the Aravalli Hills and overlooking the city, voco Udaipur will offer guests panoramic views while placing them close to one of India’s most celebrated cultural and leisure destinations.

Known as the “City of Lakes,” Udaipur attracts millions of domestic and international visitors each year thanks to its historic palaces, scenic landscapes and vibrant cultural heritage. The city has also become one of India’s leading destinations for weddings, conferences and events, creating growing demand for internationally branded accommodation.

IHG Continues India Expansion

IHG sees India as one of its key growth markets globally and continues to expand its presence across both business and leisure destinations.

He noted that Udaipur’s strong leisure appeal, combined with its growing importance for weddings and events, makes it a compelling location for premium hospitality development.

Jain added that voco’s blend of distinctive personality, premium experiences and global brand support continues to resonate with both guests and hotel owners.

A Premium Hospitality Experience

Designed around the brand’s core concepts of “Come on in,” “Me time” and “voco life,” the hotel will combine the individuality of a boutique property with the consistency and reassurance of a global hospitality brand.

The development will feature 140 guestrooms and suites, two food and beverage venues including an all-day dining restaurant and bar, as well as extensive meeting and event facilities.

Additional amenities will include a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre, catering to both leisure and business travellers.

Partnership With Circle View Estate

Circle View Estate Private Ltd believes voco’s distinctive identity and IHG’s international platform make it a strong fit for Udaipur’s evolving hospitality market.
